コロナ感染者数が劇的に増え、外出を控えなければならない時なのですが、
2月19日から神戸北野で「猫の日アート～猫を愛する芸術家の仲間達～」展に、猫イラスト二点を展示させていただきます。
昨年、展示でお世話になった京都の「gallery GEORGE」さんのご厚意でご縁をいただきました。猫をモチーフにした他の作家の方々とご一緒できる機会をいただき、光栄です。
この展覧会は、今回で二度目の開催。
『神戸北野美術館』の主催だそうですが、耐震補強工事中のため、展示場は変更になっているようです。異人館とブリコラージュでの展示ということで、また違った趣になって面白そうです。

異人館３館： 風見鶏の館／ラインの館／萌黄の館 9:00-17:00
ギャラリー： Bricolage(ギャラリーブリコラージュ) 11:00-19:00
コロナ感染症対策として開館時間がDMから変更になり、少し短縮されています。上の情報は変更後のものです。
このイベントでは、数十名の猫を愛するアーティストたちの作品が展示・販売されます。様々な手法、テイストの猫作品が一堂に会します。楽しみですね！
また、同会期にマイクロキャンバス作品の入札も行われます。マイクロキャンバスは、縦３cmという小さなキャンバスで持ち運べるアートとして注目されています。後ろにピンがついていて、かばんやお洋服につけられます。
売り上げの一部は恵まれない猫ちゃんのために使われますので、気にいったものがあれば是非ご購入ください。

Hi there, I’m yumi yamamoto, a CAT illustrator.
How are you doing?
We are in this hard time and we need to refrain from going out, but I will be exhibiting two cat illustrations at the "Cat Day Art - Artists Who Love Cats" exhibition in Kitano, Kobe from February 19.
I was fortunate enough to be invited by "gallery GEORGE" in Kyoto, where I exhibited last year. I am honored to have this opportunity to work with other artists who draw cats.
This cat art week is the second time.
The exhibition is organized by the Kobe Kitano Art Museum, but the venue was changed due to seismic reinforcement work. The exhibition will be held at the Ijinkan and the gallery bricolage, so it will be interesting to see a different atmosphere.

As a measure against corona infection, the opening hours have been changed from DM and slightly shortened. The information above is the one after the change.
In this event, dozens of cat-loving artists will exhibit and sell their works. Cat works of various techniques and tastes will be gathered in Kobe. I'm looking forward to it!
There will also be a bidding for micro-canvas works during the same period. Micro canvases are small canvases, only 3cm long, and are attracting attention as portable art. It has a pin on the back so you can attach it to your bag or clothes.
Part of the proceeds will be used to help underprivileged cats, so if you find one you like, please get one.
